![]() SHELLEY'S IN THE KITCHEN Shelley Ward, Personal Chef Pork Pie with Apples and Potatoes Recipe INGREDIENTS: 1 package ground pork 1 envelope Mrs. Cubbison's Meatloaf Mix 1/2 cup water 1/2 Granny Smith Apple, fine dice 1 small waxy potato (like Yukon Gold or red potato), fine diced and blanched 1 box puff pastry sheets, thawed DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Mix the pork, meatloaf mix, water, apple, and potato. Cut the puff pastry into 3-4 inch squares. Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray and line with the puff pastry. Fill the shells with the meat mixture 3/4 full. Bake, on the middle rack, in the oven for 25 minutes. Notes: This recipe is great as a breakfast entree or an appetizer. Serve with a side of apple sauce or garnish with mustard. We used Morehouse Mustard. |
