Combine stuffing with butter or margarine and ingredients. (Optional: can sauté vegetables until they are somewhat tender, about 3-4 minutes.) Stir liquid in gradually. Spoon stuffing into a greased 2½ or 3-quart casserole dish. Bake covered for 30 minutes at 350° F. Remove cover and bake 5 minutes longer, or until top is browned and crispy. Makes 12 (½ cup) servings.
